Who is Dr. Sebi?
Dr. Sebi was a renowned, self-trained, and self-declared herbalist from Honduras. Born Alfredo Darrington Bowman, he adopted the name Dr. Sebi when he started practicing herbal medicine.
Dr. Sebi got interested in learning about alternative medicine after what he termed as the failure of contemporary medicine to cure him of asthma, impotence, obesity, and diabetes.
After visiting a Mexican herbalist searching for a cure to his ailments, Dr. Sebi said he found relief. He, then, got inspired to create alternative medications to cure diseases and an alternative alkaline diet to prevent disease.
Dr. Sebi referred to his herbal medications as The Dr. Sebi Cell Food or African Bio- Mineral Balance Compounds. These compounds and diet combinations aim at nourishing the body cells using alkaline foods to avoid the accumulation of mucus in the body.
Dr. Sebi argued that the accumulation of mucus in the body creates an acidic environment that becomes breeding grounds for infection-causing organisms like bacteria and viruses.
Though not approved as cures for medical afflictions, Dr. Sebi’s herbal compounds and alkaline diet plans seek to rejuvenate body cells, alkalize your blood while at the same time, eliminating toxic waste from the cells to avoid inflammation.
Dr. Sebi On Cancer
Cancer is a disease caused by a dysfunction in body cells. This dysfunction can present as an abnormal growth of cells in tumorous types of cancers or as abnormal death or slow growth of cells like in blood cancers.
Dr. Sebi believed that an alkaline diet could reverse the effects of cancer and help restore the normal functioning of cells. To this end, he created compounds and diet plans that help the body remove mucus and toxins as the first step towards curing cancer using alternative medicine.

After cleansing and detoxifying the body for a stipulated period of 21 days, Dr. Sebi recommended you take specific herbs known for their medicinal capabilities. These medicinal plants include Pao Pereira, Soursop, Anamu (Guinea Hen Weed), Sarsaparilla Root and Cannabidiol (CBD) oil with Tetrahydrocannabinol.
Sarsaparilla Root has high iron content and is commonly used in treating breast cancer. Soursop has also been seen to stop the rapid growth of cells, thereby helping shrink and kill tumors. In addition, Soursop also boosts your body’s immunity compared to contemporary chemotherapy treatments that lower your immunity during and after treatment.
The extract of the Pao Pereira plant is also renowned for its ability to suppress tumors and kill cancer cells. Like the Soursop, it attacks only the cancer cell, leaving your healthy cells strong and immune-competent.
Cannabidiol, also commonly known as CBD, has also been proven effective in killing cancer cells. Depending on your body’s metabolism, autophagy takes place after starving your cells of glucose for over 24 hours. There are various ways you can plan your intermittent fasting periods:

Like the 16 and 8 methods, the eat-stop-eat method allows you to plan your fasting and eating hours in a schedule that suits your lifestyle. In addition, this method allows you to fast for 24 hours straight and repeat the same twice a week.
This intermittent fasting method breaks your calorie intake periods as opposed to hours. For example, you can decide to consume a set amount of calories on five days of the week and then fully restrict consumption of calories for two days of the week.
